So, this is it. A new
beginning finally started; my new beginning. Another challenge I need to face,
another decision I have to make, another risk I need to take, another people I
have to learn, another heartbroken I need to get over, another tears, laughs and
everything in between. I am starting a new page with the same old book. My ink
is full and my hand is in its best condition to write whatever it is in the
store for me. I don’t know what will happen in the future. I don’t what the
next four years would turn out to be. I don’t know what kind of mess I put
myself into. I don’t know if the new people I’ll meet will give me another
good memories too add into my collection
or maybe they’ll just there for a split second and then leave with no traces.
God, I don’t know how this life works.
One decision will lead
into another decision. So, I decide this. I choose this. I choose this from the
very first start. I choose to continue my life like how I supposed to. Wiping
all those tears and smiling to the universe. Saying to the world ‘I got this’,
that even its best effort to break me couldn’t even take me down. Because, I
own this life. From the very first time the air filled my lungs to the time I
will breath my last breathe, I own it.
So, this is me, hoping
for the world to be kinder, to be softer, hoping for myself to be stronger, to
be braver, hoping that i could fight back in whatever punches life throw at me,
hoping that some of these new people i meet will be people that will last a
lifetime, hoping that I can be the best version of myself while walking through
on this journey.
Here’s to white-black
uniform that will turn to a light blue uniform. Here’s to the laughter that
still endured in the throat. Here’s to shyly smile. Here’s to stiff move. Here’s to the strangers that will soon become
a best friend or maybe a lover. Here’s to first impression that will go waste
as soon as we hear them joking. Here’s to the people I’ll spend my next four
years with. Here’s to the life full of happiness. Here’s to the blue sky and
the sun shine. Here’s to the moonlight and the glow stars. Here’s to the bright
future.
